Blue River Communities (BRC) is pleased to announce it has closed on Calverton in Henry County. This 21-lot community is located on Chambers Road off Jonesboro Road in McDonough.
“We are excited to close Calverton. This small but beautiful project is the perfect gem to kick-off BRC’s portfolio of developments right here in our home market of metro Atlanta. This is the first of many upcoming closings for Blue River Communities,” states Greg Duriez, CEO. “We look forward to bringing this community out of the ground to showcase the capabilities of our team.”
Blue River Communities anticipates it will take nine to twelve months before the final plat is recorded and beginning home construction. Calverton will feature single-family detached family-sized homes offering 2,500 to 3,500 square feet.
Located “Comfortably South of Atlanta,” offering southern charm and easy access to I-75, Calverton is in the Dutchtown High School district. Its amenities include open space and sidewalks, and nearby attractions include Atlanta Motor Speedway, Panola Mountain State Park, Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, Heritage Park Veterans Museum, and the Walkin’ DEAD Hampton Tour.
First Continental is providing funding for development at Calverton, which was purchased from the Reservoir Group.
